Mr. Guymon's "Wish List"
  • Extra AAA batteries for graphing calculators
  • Extra boxes of Kleenex
  • Clorox wipes
Items listed below are suggestions & "flexible"
Trigonometry, Transition to College Math, Math 3, & College Algebra
  • First and foremost - a GREAT attitude & work ethic
  • Writing utensils
  • 2 AAA batteries for classroom graphing calculators - (not needed if students have their own graphing calculator for in-class use)
  • Dry erase markers
  • 1 box Kleenex
  • Jumbo/over-sized book cover (book sock)
  • Different color writing utensil for correcting
  • 3 ring binder and loose-leaf paper recommended (handouts will be 3 hole punched-but student may choose other organization)
  • Folder or trapper for keeping loose papers
  • One to two packs/notebooks of graph paper (most with go through 2 packs/notebooks before end of year-get them now - sometimes it's difficult to find them later in the year)
  • Math 3 - for 1 unit in middle of year a compass is needed.
  • Graphing calculator (optional, but will enhance student learning) - TI-84+ Silver is recommended - they are expensive ($100ish) so they are provided for in class use, however having one for outside of class can help with student achievement.
